Patient and public involvement
Involving patients and the public in everything we do is one of our core principles
DataTAB
The Data Trust Advisory Board (DataTAB) is a key part of INSIGHT's governance, overseeing requests to access patient data. It includes patients and members of the public as full members.

Sense about Science
We've run a series of workshops with Sense about Science – an independent charity – to understand what patients and the public already know about health data research and to find ways to support understanding of INSIGHT.

BRC Advisors
Our work with patients and the public is supported by the NIHR Moorfields Biomedical Research Centre (BRC). They have created a group of BRC Advisors focussed on data, made up of patients and members of the public with an interest in eye health. The group feeds in to different aspects of our work, including research and communication.

Getting in touch
Whether it's a question you haven't found the answer to on our website, a suggestion about how to improve it, or a comment about any other aspects of our work, we want to hear from you, so please don't hesitate to get in touch. You can also contact us with any questions you may have about your data and how it is used by INSIGHT.
